Our new ‘ground breaking’ garden tools have been inspired by ‘Native trees of the British woodland’. We’ve chosen this hand rake to be the first of many designs to be released following our concept ‘Art meets functionality’.

The Rake has been inspired by the mighty English Oak Tree (Quercus rober) and by utilising Mr Fox’s new Split-shaft attachment method its been thoughtfully designed to incorporate an Oak leaf, Oak Roots and a Tiny Acorn. Each tool is Handmade giving them all a slightly different organic look and feel.

We’ve chosen this Rake to be the first because like the tiny acorn from here we expect to grow….

These Rakes and all tools that follow will be available in a two specifications both being designed, manufactured and assembled in Devon, England.

1. The Pure Range, is focused on greener and more eco friendly garden tool production methods and materials, a truly Planet Saving, Carbon neutral line - Which consists of a reclaimed Ash, Linseed oil treated handle and a Linseed oil treated Steel head. We’re also offsetting the very little carbon released in the production of these rakes by planting a tree for every 10 rakes sold, making them a truly novel, unique and carbon positive venture; keep track and count of the trees being planted via our separate Instagram page: @mrfoxsgardentools

2. The Pro Range, Which consists of a FSC Sourced, varnished Ash Handle and a Black powder coated Steel head

We are honoured and delighted that the Oak Hand Rake was the runner up for Chelsea's product of the year 2023. The creation of these tools has always been a dream and we have finally made our first set (trowel coming very soon)!
